Abstract

The SAFE Journal of One Health is launched to provide an international platform for interdisciplinary research addressing the interconnected health of humans, animals, plants, and the environment. The journal recognizes that many contemporary challenges, including emerging diseases, food security, climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental pollution, and sustainable agricultural production, require integrated scientific approaches.

The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, perspectives, short communications, and policy-oriented studies that contribute to advancing One Health principles and sustainable development. Particular emphasis is placed on innovative research linking environmental sciences, agriculture, ecosystem health, public health, veterinary sciences, microbial ecology, soil health, food systems, and sustainability.

As the inaugural publication of the journal, this editorial introduces the vision of creating a high-quality, rigorous, and globally accessible forum for scientific exchange. Through collaboration among researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders, the journal aims to promote evidence-based solutions to complex global challenges.
